How to prepare "green salsa"
1/2 cup lightly packed fresh cilantro
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
3 or 4 fresh jalapeņo chiles, seeded
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
combine all ingredients in blender or food processor container. process until almost smooth. let stand, covered, at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors.
makes about 3/4 cup.
